Please note the above VVA Reunion will be held in Kinston, NC on April 5, 2008 (Saturday) from 9am to 3pm at American Legion Post 43 on the corner of McLewean and North St. Plans are to provide bar-b-que pig, fixen's and fish stew. All chapters are invited to attend. Please call with a number of attendees at least one week prior to the event to ensure amount of food is adequate! The purpose of this gathering is to meet-and-greet fellow VVA members and share ideas on how each group can help other groups with their memberships and projects. Without unity, we stand alone; together, we are brothers and sisters with a common goal. The members of VVA Chapter 892 are committed to the unification of the Vietnam Veterans of America and the principles by which we were first organized. There will be a brief program beginning at 10am for about one hour on "How our chapters can complement and assist each other in meeting our commitment to our national motto of not abandoning another generation of veterans." Guest speakers will include international POW/MIA advocate Ted Sampley and our State Council President Paul Crowell. We request each chapter to bring and share any proposed projects for the upcoming year so we can coordinate an unification of bodies to assist their completion. Contact person, Chapter 892 President Eric Cantu, 252-560-0589 or 252-522-2327.

Thanks to those who participated in VVA's annual Christmas party....
